Terminal

Live chart, indicators, quant panel and watchlists.

The terminal is a live chart of Binance spot and USDⓈ-M futures markets. The price and the forming bar update in real time over WebSocket.

Chart

• Symbol and market: from the symbol button in the toolbar, with Ctrl+K, or by starting to type a symbol on the chart. The last price, 24h change, high/low and volume appear next to the symbol. The selected chart is in the address; you can share the link.
• Timeframes: 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1d, 1w, 1M. All of them are available on the chart on every plan.
• History: older bars load as you scroll left.
• Chart view (the candle icon in the toolbar): candles, Heikin Ashi, line or area; normal, logarithmic or percent scale. Use Compare to overlay up to 3 symbols; the scale switches to percent and each line shows the change from the start of the visible range. Heikin Ashi is display only: indicators and strategies use the real candles.
• Your layout (symbol, timeframe, indicators, panels, chart view) is saved to your account and opens on other devices too.

Indicators

Add them from the Indicators menu: the list is grouped by category, each indicator has a short description below it and search matches descriptions too. Change parameters and colors with the settings icon, hide them with the eye icon.

• Favorites: pin an indicator to the top with the star next to it.
• Templates: save the indicators on the chart under a name at the bottom of the menu; clicking a template replaces the indicators on the chart. Saving with the same name updates it. Favorites and templates are saved to your account.
• Indicators are computed on the server; strategies and backtests get the same values.
• Candlestick patterns: in the settings, choose which patterns to show one by one or with presets (Key, All); you can show only bullish/bearish patterns and only full matches.
• Pattern, SMC and structure markers (fractals, ZigZag, divergence) are drawn at the close of the bar where they become known; they never move afterwards (no repaint). ZigZag's last, unconfirmed leg is not drawn.
• The volume profile follows the visible range on the chart and is recalculated as you scroll and zoom. The bright part is the value area; the dashed line is the most traded price (POC). It is in the Volume category.
• The Ichimoku cloud and the Alligator lines are shifted forward: on the chart they extend past the last bar into future bars. Strategies use the cloud value at that bar; the lagging span (chikou) is not shifted there so it never looks at future data.
• VWAP resets every day; VWAP (session and bands) resets per day, week or month and adds deviation bands. Both are computed on intraday timeframes only.
• The number of indicators you can use at once depends on your plan. If your plan drops, the first indicators in the list are computed and the rest stay in the list marked "over your plan limit".

Futures data

On futures (USDⓈ-M) symbols:

• Header (on wide screens): mark price, the estimated rate for the next funding and the time left, and the dollar value of open interest.
• Chart panes: turn them on in the Futures data section of the chart view menu; they are saved with your layout:
  • Open interest: dollar value of open contracts, updated every minute.
  • Funding: realized funding rate (%). When positive, longs pay shorts.
  • Long/Short: long/short ratio of all accounts and of the positions of top traders.
  • Taker buy/sell: market buy volume over sell volume; above 1 is aggressive buying.
• Ratios are computed every 5 minutes (Binance's smallest period); below 5 minutes you see one point every 5 minutes. History goes back to 2020 (funding from early 2020, the rest from September 2020).

Chart snapshot

The camera icon in the toolbar downloads the chart as a PNG or copies it to the clipboard (to paste and share). Alt+S downloads it directly. The image shows the symbol, exchange, market, timeframe and the indicators on the chart at the top, and the time it was taken (UTC) at the bottom.

Market overview

The Markets page in the top menu shows a live summary of the selected market: the top 10 gainers and losers over 24 hours, volume leaders and a heatmap of the top 60 symbols by volume (box size is volume, color is change). The lowest 20% by volume are left out of the percent lists. Click a symbol to open it in the terminal.

Keyboard shortcuts

Quant panel

The Quant button on the right shows, for the selected symbol and timeframe:

• Regime: trending (up/down), ranging or transitional. Four measures vote: Kaufman efficiency ratio, ADX, Hurst exponent and the Hilbert trend mode.
• Volatility: four estimators (close-to-close, Parkinson, Garman-Klass, Yang-Zhang) over 20/50/100-bar windows, annualized; volatility percentile and ATR %.
• Relative strength vs BTC: the symbol's and BTC's return over the last 20/50/100 bars, the relative return between them and a chart of the price/BTC ratio. A rising ratio means the symbol is stronger than BTC. Not shown for BTC itself.
• Correlation and beta: always against BTC and ETH, plus symbols you add (last 30/90 returns).
• Correlation matrix: the correlation of the last 90 returns between every pair of the symbol and the symbols in the list. Blue is positive, red negative; the stronger the color, the stronger the relationship.

Annualization is 24/7 for crypto (a year is 365 days). Values are up to the last closed bar.

Market panel and watchlists

The list icon on the left opens the market panel:

• All: every symbol of the selected market (Spot / Futures) with live price, 24h change and volume. Search and sort with the search box and the column headers (volume, change, name).
• Watchlists: each list is a chip. In the All view, the star on a row adds the symbol to the active list; the star in the toolbar adds the chart's symbol. In a list, drag symbols to reorder them. A list can mix spot and futures symbols.
• The footer shows the price status: Live or Delayed (if the live summary is temporarily unavailable, prices come from the last closed 1-minute candle).
